Tea Sourcing - batch 235 - 1st flush Darjeeling Balasun Superior

1st flush Darjeeling Balasun superior: Magnificent!

Dried Leaf: Large dark green, brown leaves and silvery buds; aroma of exotic dried fruit, herbs and “petrichor” the smell of fresh rain falling on dry soil/stone.
Infused Leaf: Uneven light green leaves with some reddish hues. Parsley, dark wet wood and spice aroma.
Liquor: Slightly astringent cup with brilliant apricot colour. A fresh flowery bouquet (tulips) followed by notes of lychee, pear & apricot with mountain herbs and rain after the dry spell. Excellently balanced liquor with brisk and light taste and lingering fruity after-taste.
